Volunteer

Better Taxes is a people powered campaign.

Together, you and I, our whānau and friends, neighbours and colleagues can build the power we need to win better taxes for a better future: a future in which you and your community have warm and dry homes, safe and nutritious school lunches, affordable and accessible public transport, and clean, swimmable rivers.

You can be a part of fighting for that future by joining the Better Taxes volunteer team.

Fill out the form and we'll be in touch as soon as possible.

How would you like to be involved?

Volunteer roles

  • Events: Help us to plan and organise in-person and online events, including our 'Funding our Future' training programme.
  • Volunteer coordination: To build a sustainable movement for better taxes we need to build a strong volunteer community. As a volunteer coordinator you'll help us engage and onboard new volunteers.
  • Research and writing: Be a part of the team researching, writing and reviewing strategic research reports and communications.
  • Creative crew: Have you got skills and/or experience in photography/ videography, video editing, design, making content for social media? This mahi is for you!
  • Social media amplifiers: Always online? Share our content through social media, personal networks or community channels to ensure our messaging connects with as many people as possible.
  • General volunteers: Not sure what you want to be involved with? Or happy to help out with anything? Join our general volunteers team.
